Opening a fabric shop is a goal I have had for quite some time now. Who wouldn't want to go to work where you are surrounded by new beautiful fabric? Endless inspiration neatly wrapped on bolts just waiting to be chosen! I decided to start slow and small online but hope to expand to a brick and mortar location in a couple of years. It would definitely be a dream come true to go to "work" (if you can call it that) in a quilt shop! I have been sewing for about 12 years. Some of my favorite days were spent in a quilt shop owned by a lady that quickly became my friend. She has since moved and the shop closed. The knowledge, laughs, friendship and inspiration that was gained there is something that I will continue to draw upon for the rest of my life. It was wonderful to go there and be surrounded by such beautiful potential day after day. I hope to be able to bring that same inspiration and knowledge to others.
